Principles of the Suite

First and foremost, users of the facility will do no harm to equipment.

Second, we realize this is a place to promote learning, and sometimes mistakes or accidents will occur.  When this happens, please report problems immediately to staff or faculty.  Please keep the spirit of collegiality for all users (student and faculty) when raising any concerns.

Warning

We recognize this is a learning environment and that accidents will happen. Please note that we are also working with unique and expensive equipment. Damage to this equipment may significantly disrupt research activities for many users. Any student who displays a disregard for the guidelines established by the university will have access revoked.  Any faculty or staff member witnessing student operation of the microscope that could harm the equipment has the right to remove a student’s microcopy access until it can be reviewed by the MAPP.
