Carrie serves on the Community Engagement Committee as co-chair.

Carrie Wilson is the owner and CEO of Freedom Construction, a commercial construction management company serving West Michigan. With over a decade in leadership and operations in multiple industries, an Master's of Fine Arts in Writing, and a passion for community, Carrie strives to foster opportunities for all in the construction industry and beyond. This is underscored by a company-wide commitment to community involvement, including mentorship, coaching, and volunteering with local workforce development programs and nonprofits.

Carrie was recognized as a 2023 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Nominee by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, a 2023 Crain’s Grand Rapids “Notable Leader in Commercial Real Estate,” and was on the 2024 "Women Who Build West Michigan" list by West Michigan Works! Construction Careers Council. Carrie is also a member of Women of Habitat Kent, the Builders Exchange of Michigan Board of Directors, the Family Business Alliance Board of Directors, and the Grand Valley State University.

In her free time, you’ll find her playing volleyball, riding horses, travelling, and most commonly, spending time with her family.
