Bradford Dykes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics. Before serving as the Student Success Data Director, they chaired the Online Education and Microcredential Council and DataFest@GVSU Planning Committee and was a Faculty Fellow for the CLAS Strategy and Innovation Group. Bradford earned a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from GVSU, and Master of Science and Ph.D. in Statistics from Western Michigan University. They worked at Husson University in Bangor, Maine before joining GVSU in 2017. 

Bradford teaches applied statistical methods and statistical computing and is interested in working with educators to integrate data and statistical thinking into their courses. An ongoing Library of Congress funded-project uses primary source data visualizations in K-12 history and social studies lessons to build students' data literacy. Bradford is also a Fellow for Campus Compact helping to administer, analyze, and report on their civic and community engagement field survey.
