Amber Stout
Amber serves on the Executive and Steering Committee and the Fundraising Committee as the Co-Chair.
Amber is a dedicated donor relations professional, passionate about elevating the donor experience through creative and strategic communication. With over twelve years of experience in art and design organizations, her commitment to creativity, curiosity, and process improvement has fostered strong professional relationships and successful fundraising initiatives throughout her career.
In her current role as Associate Director of Donor Relations and Communications at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Amber develops and executes a strategic stewardship program aimed at deepening donor engagement and generating impactful results. Her time at the Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in donor recognition and annual giving stewardship, further honed her collaboration skills and strategic planning abilities.
Amber holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Museum Studies from Harvard University Extension School and Graduate Certificates in Arts Administration and Nonprofit Management from Boston University and Harvard University Extension School.
As a Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate in Art and Design from Grand Valley State University, Amber is committed to supporting experiential learning opportunities for current and future CLAS students. Her internship experiences with the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, Dwelling Place’s Avenue for the Arts, and her early career at the Grand Rapids Ballet greatly influenced her interest in arts administration and mission-driven organizations.
Amber currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island, with her husband and two cats.
