About

Courtney Topić is an Assistant Professor in the Legal Studies Department. She earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Montclair State University, where she majored in History, minored in Pre-Law and completed an ABA approved Paralegal Studies Certificate Program. She earned a J.D., summa cum laude, from Touro Law Center, where she was Class Salutatorian and Editor-in-Chief of the Touro Law Review.  Following her graduation, Professor Topić clerked for Justice Jaynee LaVecchia (Ret. 2022) of the New Jersey Supreme Court (2007-2008 Term) and then went on to practice business litigation in the New York City offices of several large national law firms. Professor Topić has over a decade of experience litigating business disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country.
