The following section consists of the Cardiovascular (CVS) and Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) prerequisite courses. If you have not completed a course, you will be asked to indicate how you intend to complete each outstanding course to the best of your ability.

The CVS and DMS prerequisite courses may be in progress at the time of application; however, they must be completed with a "C" or better prior to the fall start of the program. Any grade lower than a "C" will be considered an incomplete course and will affect your eligibility for program admission.

**PLEASE NOTE: Beginning in the 2028 cycle, the program will require a B- or better in all prerequisites except Physics, which will require a C or better. If you plan to apply in 2027/2028 for the Fall 2028 start you will be expected to adhere to this requirement. Students applying this cycle (October 1, 2026 - February 1, 2027) will need a C or better in all prerequisites.

Any applicant not able to complete the prerequisite courses prior to the fall start of the program should contact the College of Health Professions Student Services Office (CHPSSO) to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor.
