Why did you choose GVSU?

Because I did my undergrad at GVSU, I really enjoyed the area.

What made you want to join Blue Nucleus?

All the best programmers from GVSU gather here, and I wanted to work alongside them. Also, the projects are very practical. I like the fact that what I build here can have a lasting impact on the clients.

What has been your favorite experience in the program so far?

The people, I think. I haven't worked with all of them yet, but I want to. They all have interesting backgrounds and are working on fascinating projects. I always ask about what they're working on. Some people give me a very long answer, sometimes going off topic, while others are straight to the point. It's interesting to hear about their projects—the ups and downs, the features, the bugs, and even the drama.

Are you a part of any clubs or RSO’s?

I used to be a member of the VSA (Vietnamese Student Association) and iAA (International Anchor Allies). In the past, I was curious about how events are run. I learned that they actually take a lot of planning, communication, and hard work. Attending an event is fun, but helping make it happen is even more enjoyable for me.

Favorite Hobbies and Interest:

I like music, so when I have free time, I enjoy practicing on my keyboard and going music events, so I volunteer at them whenever I can. I try to spend time in my garden every day, I play soccer to stay in shape, and I like spending time with friends—going out to eat, shopping, playing pickleball or tennis, or simply going for a walk.

What's something people might be surprised to learn about you?

When I was younger, I used to play for the Vietnamese National Baseball Team.

Fun Fact(s):

  • Preferred OS: iOS and Window
  • Early Bird vs Night Owl: Early Bird.
  • Describe Blue Nucleus in One Word: Refreshing

What is your goal after Graduating?

Treat myself to a nice dinner, then continue doing what I always do—working on interesting things.
