Peer to Peer: Start Here is a fast-paced session designed to build understanding and momentum for teams preparing to launch or strengthen a Peer to Peer program. Participants will engage in a condensed Foundations in Peer to Peer overview and explore the Peer to Peer Playbook with step-by-step guidance. This session is especially helpful for newer team members who are part of an existing Peer to Peer team with an identified leader, as well as those newly tasked with starting a program in the upcoming school year. It provides a clear entry point and fosters a shared understanding of the purpose, structure, and next steps of the work. Additional office hours will be offered on a separate day to provide continued support.
Important Note: This session is designed to support and orient team members, not to replace the full Foundations in Peer to Peer training. Teams are strongly encouraged to participate in the full training series, which will be offered every fall.
Individual viewing: For this training, individual viewing is recommended for a single individual attending the training, or for each member of a group of 20 people or less.
Team Viewing Option: For this training, team viewing is recommended for a group size of 21 or more participants, who will be facilitated by at least 1 team leader (preferably a coach within your local ISD).
Team Viewing Instructions:
- Identify and register 1to 2 Team Leaders (preferably a coach within your district/ISD) who will be responsible for facilitating the virtual training experience.
- Team Leaders are responsible for the following:

- After registering, START will send the Team Leaders a Facilitator Guide with information about facilitating a high-quality virtual training experience in a large group.
