Emma joined AEP for the 2022 field season, and loved spending her summer in Utqiagvik. She is especially interested in the lichen and moss on the tundra (Cladonia pyxidata is her favorite).

She graduated from GVSU in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor is Spanish.
