There are several ways to be admitted as a GVSU student. The links below will provide information regarding the admissions process for each type of admissions status.

If you're not sure how you should be applying or what is the best fit for you, our advisors can help, we advise prospective adult students and help them navigate the admissions process and determine the best path to meet their career goals
The Center for Adult and Continuing Studies welcomes you back to GVSU! Returning to college can be challenging and some procedures may have changed since you were here before. Let us help you get the information you need. You can download our checklist or simply follow these steps:
1. Submit the Petition to return or call the Registrars office at 616-331-3327 and tell them you want to do a re-entry.
2. Contact the Center for Adult and Continuing Studies at 616-331-7180 to schedule an advising appointment to discuss general academic requirements, understanding new college policies, getting re-connected to your academic department, and utilizing campus resources available to adult and non-traditional students
3. log in to your MyBanner account and contact your academic department or advising center for an advising appointment (if you have declared a major), if you have not decided on a major or are changing majors, we will connect you to the appropriate department

Transfer curriculum guides - a set of guides from all Michigan Community colleges that help you navigate the transfer process
Transfer Course equivalencies - an online database of courses that transfer from other colleges and universities
