The Math Tutoring Center, also know as the Math Lab, is a place for students taking all levels of math classes to get help from other students. Tutoring is done by undergraduate math majors and department faculty. The Math Lab is located in 2309 Mackinac Hall to be closer and more convenient to the majority of math classes. (It is upstairs, just down the hall from the math office.) The tables are open to use as a quiet place to do your math homework, and if you have a question, help is at hand! Other Math Tutoring locations include Downtown Grand Rapids and Holland. Please call the Center at (616) 331-2084 or visit their Web site for more information.

The Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors provides free writing help. The Center assists writers at any stage of their writing processes. Peer consultants can help with brainstorming ideas, organizing content, paraphrasing or summarizing research from various sources, polishing a final draft, and correctly documenting sources. Walk-in hours are available in Allendale, Downtown Grand Rapids, and Holland. Grammar-Chat and Online Support is also available. Please call the Center at (616) 331-2922 or visit their Web site for more information.
