Masego Seamogano
Masego Atlang Seamogano is a dual enrolled (Master of Science in
Accounting Auditing and Master of Science in Data Science &
Analytics),student from Botswana with a goal of pursuing PhD in Data
Engineering in Fall 2025. She founded Itsose Mosadi 2019, an NGO that
empowers less fortunate young mothers and girls who are victims of
social issues like GBV, poverty, and discrimination. She aspires to be
a Forensic Intelligence
Specialist and Expert Witness, Children's
Rights Activist, and Human Rights Defender.
Currently, Masego represents GVSU Graduate students in several
faculty committees like the Graduate Council, Equity & Inclusion
Faculty Committee, IIA Detroit Chapter Ă˝ Academic Relations Committee,
to name a few. She also received several awards for her leadership in
GVSU, like "I am Grand Valley."
Besides her passion for philanthropy and leadership, she enjoys
playing Softball and reading Kahlil Gibran, Napoleon Hill, Richard
Branson, and Chris Anderson's books.
