Morgan Hanks
Morgan Hanks is a graduate student at Grand Valley State University
studying for her Masters of Public Administration. She earned her
Bachelor of Arts in English from Michigan State University in 2015.
She is a first-year Cook Leadership Academy fellowship candidate
looking to sharpen her leadership skills and form meaningful
connections with her community. Morgan is the User Experience Manager
for Kent District Library. With over 10 years of experience, her work
in libraries demonstrates her commitment to a unified and educated
community. Morgan is a Gold Award Recipient and a lifetime Girl Scout.
She is passionate about women in leadership and developing our next
generation of leaders. Morgan is currently studying for her Certified
Financial Manager exams to aid in her career within the governmental
realm. When not working or studying, you can find Morgan with her head
in a book, walking her dog or on her yoga mat.
Morgan aspires to take what she learns from the Cook Leadership
Academy to continue her work toward a more just, equitable and
harmonious society.
