Self-Care Practices

…journal, go for a run, call your mom, talk to a friend, take a long, hot shower while listening to music, call your family, hang out with your parents, watch some tv, take a nap, use a face mask, go to the gym, clean your room, sleep, turn your phone off, focus on a small task like simple homework or cleaning your room, cry, watch Netflix, call your dad, listen to podcasts, read books, meditate, eat good food, pray, sing, dance, go for a run, call a friend, play videogames, read, listen to music, make tea, make a list of what I have to do, clean, use positive reaffirmations, take a cold shower, get coffee, go for a short drive, sketch a vision board, write poems, eat hot chips, watch Disney movies, laugh with friends, paint, watch funny YouTube videos, go rock climbing read devotionals, read the bible, send an appreciation letter or text to someone you are grateful for, take a walk in the Ravines, listen to the birds and squirrels, rant to friends, acknowledge how you are feeling, play basketball, try to distract yourself, make a list of things to do better tomorrow, get away from technology, watch a Vine compilation, paint your nails, bake, cuddle, try to make people laugh, meditate, take prescribed medication, go home and hang out with your dog, talk about it, get dressed up, color, visit the Counseling Center, close your eyes and focus on breathing, focus on the things you’re thankful for, deep breathing, wash and style your hair, eat healthy then treat yourself to dessert, wash and moisturize your face, use a stress relieving body scrub, pick out your clothes out for the next day, crochet, use online self care resources, go explore a new place, someone else, hug people, cook a meal, go shopping, go out for ice cream, wash your sheets, go to bed early, watch your favorite sport, set a timer for five minutes to let  out the stress, wake up early and make a good breakfast, talk about your faith, visit an animal shelter and play with dogs, yoga, leave your phone at home for the day…
