We know that you are looking for ways to maximize your schedule to take the classes you want while filling university and major requirements.

To help you make smart choices in your schedule, the Writing department developed a list of courses that allow you to “double-dip.” These courses contribute to your WRT major and also fulfill one or more university requirements (i.e., General Education and/or SWS). By taking courses that double-dip, you free room in your schedule to add different courses to your schedule to satisfy your curiosity or possibly select a minor or additional major.

The following courses count as electives for the Writing major and also count as a general eduction course and/or SWS course. You can view a complete list of possible interdisciplinary elective courses and also speak with your faculty mentor to discuss if a course not listed might count as a WRT elective.
