Michigan residents: Request an absentee ballot online here.
Michigan offers at least nine days of early voting prior to election day.

1. Check your voter registration status
Make sure you are registered to vote at your current address. Check your registration status at Michigan.gov/Vote.
2. Look-up your polling place
Each voter has an assigned polling place they must visit to cast a ballot on Election Day. Find your designated polling place at Michigan.gov/Vote.
***If you are in line when polls close at 8pm, STAY IN LINE! You will be permitted to cast a ballot.
3. Cast your ballot
Visit your polling place or return your absentee ballot. If voting by absentee or mailed ballot, your ballot must be returned to your clerk’s office, or to one of your clerk’s ballot drop boxes by 8 p.m. on Election Day for it to be counted.
