The TRIO-STEM Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm all summer long. Appointments can be scheduled by logging into www.gvsu.edu/navigate with your Network ID and Password, or you can call our office at (616) 331-5430. We can do in-person, phone or virtual appointments.

Each year every TRIO STEM participant has to fill out a new Individualized Service Assessment. To make this an easier process, this is now available online.
To increase rates of academic achievement, retention, and graduation among historically underrepresented students interested in the STEM - Health Science majors by providing holistic and individualized support services that maximize students' innate abilities, draw upon available resources within and outside of the university, and benefit students, families and the larger community.
TRIO Student Support Services (formerly known as the Educational Support Program) is a federally-funded, comprehensive support program for first-generation and limited-income college students. The goal of the program is to offer every possible form of support for participants along their journey to graduation from Grand Valley State University.
TRIO STEM is one of seven TRIO programs at Grand Valley State University. There are three Student Support Services for college students: Classic (all majors), TPSSS (education majors) and TRIO STEM (science, technology, engineering, science and all health sciences majors).
