Title IX Coordinator Notice

Dear Students and Colleagues,
Our Title IX Coordinator, Dr. Kevin Carmody, will be taking a medical leave of absence beginning later this week. We extend our best wishes as he addresses his health.
Per our notice requirements, we are sharing with the university that Dr. Kathleen VanderVeen will serve as our Acting Title IX Coordinator effective immediately. Dr. VanderVeen serves as Associate Vice President and Chief Deputy Inclusion and Equity Officer is a long-time civil rights and disability support compliance professional and has undergone extensive training in Title IX. Her appointment in an interim basis is guided by Title IX procedures and outlined in the Title IX transition and succession planning process on the Title IX website. We appreciate the leadership and steadfast work of Deputy Directors MJ Creutz and Stacy Piasecki who will continue to work closely with Dr. VanderVeen. As we assess the ongoing needs of the office, we will incorporate additional support and keep you updated.
