I enjoyed traveling throughout Spain and learning about the culture. Through my abroad experience, I traveled to Segovia, Sevilla, Madrid, Barcelona, Pamplona, and San Sebastián. I experienced the Spanish culture through trying new foods including pintxos, paella, and churros with chocolate. I gained fluency by living with a host family in Bilbao and spoke the target language each day throughout my semester abroad. I was able to practice my Spanish through living each day in the culture. This experience transformed me as a person and I view the world differently after spending time abroad.
