Elizabeth Hurt, Ghana
Going to the University of Cape Coast in Ghana was an experience I will never forget. It was incredible to be in an environment so far from home and learning about so many cultural differences between my own culture and Ghanaian culture. It was equally rewarding to learn about the similarities shared across borders. I met so many amazing, welcoming people and have made lifelong friends that I actually have plans to be seeing in the near future. This not only includes flights back to Ghana but to other international student’s home states and countries as well. If I could do this experience all over again, I definitely would.
