Allison Albery, Italy
Studying abroad in Rome was one of the most transformative experiences of my life, both personally and academically. Living in a city filled with history pushed me to see what I was learning in class come to life, especially through visits to ancient sites and meaningful class discussions. One of my favorite memories was exploring the city with friends, whether that meant getting lost in side streets, trying new foods, or traveling to nearby places on the weekends. I met incredible people from different backgrounds who challenged my perspective and made the experience even more meaningful. Throughout my time abroad, I became more independent, adaptable, and open to new experiences. Overall, Rome taught me to embrace uncertainty and fully immerse myself in every opportunity.
Allison studied at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. She majored in business and marketing.
