Mitzi Morgan, Cyprus
My study abroad experience was so special to me because it taught me to step out of my comfort zone and made me feel more solid in my own identity. I got to meet so many other students from around the United States, as well as even other people from Grand Valley. I traveled around the island of Cyprus, interacting with people from around the world, embracing the culture, and learning the history of Cyprus. My classes allowed me to shadow providers at hospitals and long term care facilities in order to understand their medical system, which was an invaluable experience for me to take with me into my future career.
Mitzi studied at University of Nicosia in Cyprus. She majored in Allied Health Sciences.
