Tapanga Witt, Spain
During my semester abroad in Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Madrid, I experienced what computing looks like in a completely different academic environment. Adjusting to new teaching styles, navigating classes held in different locations each week, and managing a language barrier pushed me to become more independent and adaptable. Outside of academics, I had the opportunity to explore Spain, try new food, and meet students from around the world. Some of my favorite memories include traveling to the Canary Islands where I got to see beautiful beaches, and to Malaga, where I got to walk on streets made of marble. I also took a class called creativity and innovation and it changed the way I think about problem-solving.
