Gavin Cowan, Japan
I loved my time studying abroad. I was able to see so many interesting things, learn so much and meet so many amazing people. I was very nervous at the beginning, since it was the first time I was properly separated from anyone I knew. But, all the people at JCMU were great and I think the people I met there I will continue to be close with for the rest of my life. While I was abroad, I think my favorite memories were spending time with friends, whether it was just studying together or biking to stores or karaoke. Even though many of those memories are not the most exciting, they stick with me the most and I encourage anyone studying abroad to really get to know other people while they are there.
