This was a very new experience for me. Before going to London I have never traveled outside of the country before and it was my first time flying alone as well. It was definitely an adjustment getting used to the time change as well as having to adjust to not having your favorite snacks or brands there. I personally enjoyed taking the tube everywhere (once you figure it out) and it was insane how Big Ben and the London Eye and all of these iconic landmarks were only a 20 minute tube ride away. While being in London there is so much to do and every weekend there are events happening so you'll never get bored. You're also given the opportunity to travel to so many different countries and cities. I was able to go to Ireland, Switzerland, and Italy. Some of my favorite trips were the day trips I took with my roommates to new cities in England. I definitely learned a lot but the big things were how to be more confident in myself as well as how to adjust and be ok with trying new things. This was a very special experience for me and I will always remember it forever.
