"The four months that I spent in Thailand were full of adventure, excitement, and so many opportunities to grow. Thailand challenged me to really step out of my comfort zone and it pushed me to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. I had so many amazing experiences in Thailand like bathing elephants at an elephant retirement home, hiking up mountains with monkeys, scuba diving, and making friends with locals. I learned how to communicate with people even though we didn't speak the same language. I even learned enough Thai to be able to successfully give directions and order food (it was very exciting when I actually got what I thought I ordered.)

The landscapes, culture, and people of Thailand are so beautiful and colorful. There are so many places to explore and so many things to learn that I could have easily turned 4 months into 4 years. Thailand, and Southeast Asia in general, has so much beauty to offer. I was able to travel to Cambodia, Indonesia, and all across Thailand during those months. The culture is so different than what I am used to here, so wherever you are or whatever you're doing, you are learning something no matter what. Everything that you come across is a new experience. If you can successfully navigate through Bangkok, I'm pretty sure you can do anything. I would recommend Thailand to anyone who is searching for adventure, culture, and amazing people. I can't wait to go back some day! "
