Candidate Bio
I believe in an educated student body that is informed about the actions of their student representatives. As a member of the Public Relations Committee, I made it my goal during the Student SenateĆ½s 2023-2024 session to make the Senate as open and transparent as possible. I have collaborated with senators on every committee to help promote Senate events and actions, GVSU policies and resources, and election and voting information via Instagram, print media, and on-campus tabling. In the future, I will continue to work tirelessly in this direction to further my vision of an engaged student population and work with my peers to tackle issues relevant to GV students. As a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) representative, I will apply my goal to the students that I see inside and outside the classroom, and ensure that our academic interests are kept at the forefront of Senate conversations.
