Hello, my name is Anna Theune. I am from Spring Lake, MI and I am a 3rd year here at GVSU. Since coming to GVSU, I have been involved in many things including Aspiring Educators of Michigan (AEM) at GVSU where I am the secretary and DEI coordinator. My major is Group Social Studies - Secondary Education with the hopes of becoming a high school history teacher. I have a teachable minor in history and a Spanish minor as well. With this said, I have always had a passion for diverse voices and want to ensure that everyone is heard. I was appointed this previous January to the Student Senate to be part of the Educational Affairs Committee. My work is not done yet in the Senate and I hope that I can create positive change at GVSU and the overall campus experience.
