I am committed to educating students on campus resources and plugging them into the greater Grand Rapids Community. I will give a platform to students with physical and invisible disabilities to give them the college experience they deserve. I want to pursue additional opportunities for students to take part in interdisciplinary learning such as seminars or study away with little to no cost for them.

As a transfer student I know what it is like to not feel that your college is your second home. Not only is Grand Valley my safe place, it is also an opportunity to get comfortable in the uncomfortable. As a senator I will push for you to have every opportunity to prove your worth as a student and engage in opportunities for growth. I am committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives that can unite us as students and individuals. Every student deserves to have simple and easy access to the plethora of resources on campus, and I will fight to make those available to you. Throughout the various organizations I participate in including the GVSU marching band and Alpha Sigma Tau sorority I have seen the diverse student needs on campus. Navigating the world of higher education can be confusing and challenging, but it doesn't have to be. This is place where you can grow to your full potential and I will make sure the Laker Effect lives up to its name.
