Candidate Bio
Nancy is a committed student who is passionate about politics and policy. She has interned on Capitol Hill and worked with local politics while being a full-time student, maintaining a Dean's List, being active in the Student Senate, and financially supporting herself through college. During her three years on the Student Senate, she has served on four different committees, been elected as the Vice President of Allocations, served as the student organizer for ElectHer, and passed two pieces of legislation. Nancy is committed to advancing equitable and cost-effective education programs at Grand Valley and advocating for the tools necessary for student success. Ultimately, she believes that her final term on the body will be as impactful and effective as her tenure in the Student Senate.
