I am currently a member of the Pre-Med Club here at GVSU and this has allowed me to connect with other like minded students who came from different backgrounds to learn more about what struggles GVSU students are facing.

- Lower the cost of parking permits, - Increase housing availability on campus, - Lowering the cost of tuition, - Removing the merit based scholarship deadline - Increasing the student employee minimum wage, - Solving real problems students face on a day-to-day basis and through their time here at GVSU.

Hello, my name is Michael Eshleman, and i'm running for student senate. I first joined the Student Senate during the reconstruction period because after only one semester on campus, I, like many others, quickly discovered many issues troubling GVSU students. I wanted to do more than earn a degree during my time here at GVSU, and with your support, we can make GVSU a better place to live and learn. Now, a little about myself: when I am off campus and not studying, you can find me doing a lot of different activities. I would not describe myself as an adrenaline junkie, but I do enjoy scrambling on top of mountains and racing my car around the track. On a clear night, I will be set up with my telescope, looking deep into the cosmos. No matter what I am up to, I would love to serve you as a member of the Student Senate this upcoming academic year.
