I am the current Student Senate President and I am running for re-election. I've accomplished a lot during my tenure on Student Senate including helping to run our social media platforms, sitting on the Public Safety Liaison Committee, sitting on the Student Organization Review Board, attending Intercollegiate Athletic Advisors meetings, attending all faculty senate meetings, and attending Presidentýs Council meetings to discuss President Mandelaýs vision for the University.This year, I was able to lead the charge on restructuring efforts designed to make Student Senate more accessible to students and to become more efficient at addressing the issues we face. Next year, I hope to lead the charge in implementing these changes. There are also a lot of student concerns that need to be addressed, and my experience in the position will allow me to hit the ground running on tackling those issues.
