Outcome T nature and breadth of theatre

Graduates in theatre will be confident, prepared, and knowledgeable in the nature and breadth of theatre.
Objective 15 Theatre graduates will be able to distinguish and interpret forms of character expression.
Objective 16 Theatre graduates will be able to distinguish, describe, and evaluate methods and processes of theatre production

Outcome TA Theatre Canon of Literature

Students will demonstrate exposure to and familiarity with plays and theories of theatre from the history of world theatre.
Objective 56 Theatre students will be able to demonstrate familiarity with a select canon of dramatic literature and theory in theatre.
Objective 59 Students will be able to analyze and critique examples of dramatic literature.

Outcome TB Theatre Design and Technology

Students will demonstrate competency in two or more technical areas and one or more design disciplines
Objective 60 Theatre majors will demonstrate proficiency in a technical theatre discipline by successfully completing a final project in technical theatre class.
Objective 61 Theatre majors will demonstrate proficiency in a theatre design discipline by successfully completing a final project in a theatre design class.

Outcome TC Theatre Performance Technique

Students will demonstrate proficiency in performance technique.
Objective 57 Students will demonstrate, through performance of monologues and scenes, basic techniques of acting performance and characterization.
Objective 58 Students will demonstrate, through performance of monologues and scenes, basic vocal and movement acting skills.

Objective 18 Theatre graduates will feel empowered to effectively work collaboratively in teams as part of the theatre production process.
