Pre-College students in the regions that we serve are exposed to GVSU through collaborative practices.
Objective 10 OAISD- South Early College students can articulate majors associated with their career interests.

OAISD-Early College South underwent significant changes in the spring of 2018, resulting in decreased Early College Participation. Despite the strong showing at last year’s event, we modified the Majors Fair program for this group given the current numbers.

Although this event has been taking place for three years, this is the first that we narrowed our target specifically to 12th graders and so we are more aligned with the learning outcomes associated with the program and met our threshold.

88% of OAISD- Careerline Tech Center Teacher Academy students who participated in the GVSU Visit indicated that they were more knowledgeable about university programs; although we missed our target by 2% points, we exceeded our threshold.

College of Education has taken on the full coordination and responsibility for this program. While CoE is now coordinating this event, ACS's work will shift to working with CoE in a variety of ways that build pathways into GVSU's education program.
