During this reporting period (Fall 2019) there was one section of clinical courses that occurred. Since the last reporting period, there were 75 student clinical evaluations collected. Of those 75 evaluations, 75 (100%) met the threshold and 56 (75%) met the target.

2018 Status
Achieved
During this reporting period there were 4 sections of clinical courses that occurred. Since the last reporting period, there were 465 student clinical evaluations collected. Of those 465 evaluations, 408 (87.7%) met the threshold and 274 (67%) met the target.

Of the 424 student clinical evaluations reviewed for 2017, 11 of these evaluations did not meet the criteria. The program percentage is 97.4% (413 out of 424).The program will continue to work with students and clinical staff to improve this area even more.

Outcome RT-B Problem Solving & Critical Thinking

The student will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills
Objective 1 Students will properly and accurately position patients for simulation and treatment

During this reporting period (Fall 2019) there were two sections of laboratory courses that occurred. Since the last reporting period, there were 133 student clinical evaluations collected. Of those 75 evaluations, 133 (100%) met the threshold and 86 (65%) met the target.

2018 Status

During this reporting period there were 4 sections of clinical courses that occurred. There were 458 student clinical evaluations that were collected. Of these evaluations, 382 (83%) met the threshold, and 244 (67%) met the target.

2017 Status

Of the 424 evaluations reviewed for 2017, 417 met the criteria (98.3%). The program will continue to work with students and clinical staff to improve this area even further.

Outcome RT-C Oral Communication

Radiation Therapy students will demonstrate effective formal presentation skills.
Objective 1 Students will make effective use of eye contact, voice projection, pacing and language choices that are appropriate.

During the reporting period there was one section of the course taught that in which the measure is being evaluated. The course was last taught in Winter 2019. There were 17 students in this course during that semester and 100% of students met the threshold of (3) or higher. None of them were scored a (5) which is indicative of a perfect score/presentation. In 2019, students demonstrated effective formal presentation skills.

During the reporting period, there was one section of the course taught that this measure is being evaluated. This course was last taught in Winter 2018. There were 19 students in this course during this semester, and 16/19=84.2% of students met the threshold of (3) or higher. None of them were scored a (5) which is indicative of a perfect score/presentation.

Outcome RT-D Oral Communication

Students will communicate effectively with healthcare staff
Objective 1 Students will exhibit appropriate interpersonal communication skills with healthcare staff.

Outcome RT-E Problem Solving

Student will compare current treatment images to treatment plan and determine accuracy of positioning.
Objective 1 Students will be able to accurately evaluate IGRT images.

There were 456 student evaluations collected during this reporting period. Of these 456 evaluations 95% (410) met the target and 100% (456) met the threshold.

During the reporting period, there were 17 students enrolled in the course used to evaluate this measure. All 17 students (100%) met the threshold and target for this measure.

Outcome RT-F Critical Thinking

Students will use their systematic reasoning to examine and evaluate information and ideas and then synthesize their conclusions to propose new perspectives and conclusions.
Objective 1 Students will propose treatment plans for the treatment of breast cancer.
