Outcome VIS_STU: A Citizenship in Public and Cultural Contexts

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to demonstrate that they are an informed, able, and engaged citizen in cultural and public life.
Objective 1 Students in ART 393 Image Studio will demonstrate self-motivation and ability to find and learn relevant information about artists, cultural ideas, and broad knowledge in a variety of fields.

Outcome VIS_STU: B Collaboration

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to work together and share the workload equitably to progress toward shared objectives, learned through structured activities that occur over a significant period of time.
Objective 1 Students in ART 395 Space Studio will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in the production, presentation, and evaluation of cultural forms involving space.

Outcome VIS_STU: C Collaboration

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to collaborate effectively for multiple purposes and audiences.
Objective 1 Students in ART 392 Curatorial Studio will demonstrate the ability to plan and implement various types of documentation and cataloguing of exhibitions and projects, including writing, visuals, editorial, design, and new media.

Outcome VIS_STU: D Integration

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to synthesize and apply knowledge, experiences, and multiple perspectives to new, complex situations.
Objective 1 Students in ART 394 Interactive Studio will demonstrate an understanding of networks and servers in collaborative and interactive applications.

Outcome VIS_STU: E Problem Solving

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to design and evaluate strategies to answer open-ended questions.
Objective 1 Students in ART 396 Time Studio will be able to construct presentations of culture that are deliberate and appropriate to existing and created contexts and conditions in works involving time. This includes analysis, planning, imagination, implementation, and evaluation.

Outcome VIS_STU: F Critical Thinking

Graduates of Studio Art with an emphasis in Visual Studies will be able to use systematic reasoning to examine and evaluate information and ideas and then synthesize their conclusions to propose new perspectives and solutions.
Objective 1 Students in ART 391 Civic Studio will be able to recognize and describe relationships between the practice of art and other human, civic, and commercial enterprises.
