In this second round of assessment, although student performance improved by 28-30% points in identifying how international economic forces affect business and how businesses expand internationally, it still fell short of the established threshold. Student average ranged from 2.6 to 3 and between 63%-80% of the students sampled performed at level 3 or above on the four-point scale rubric.

This objective was assessed in two sections of ECO 369 in Winter 2018. The performance of International Business Majors was isolated for this assessment.

Objective 2 Students should be able to demonstrate global cultural competence

Achieved
An email inviting the 10 International Business majors to take ETS's Intercultural Competence Test was sent in Fall 2020 and Winter 2021. A total of five International Business majors volunteered to take the test. These students performed above the comparison group on both sections (Analyze-Act and Approach) of the test.
