Assessment of Student Outcomes

Outcome 1 Increase student success results for underrepresented students through TRIO Student Support Services programs

Objective 1

TRIO Student Support Services program participants will exceed grant objectives for Persistence, Good Academic Standing, and Bachelor's Degree attainment every year of the grant.

Objective 2

TRIO Student Support Services STEM program participants will exceed grant objectives for Persistence and Good Academic Standing every year of the grant.

Outcome 2 Provide quality support for students who are at risk of graduating from GVSU through the Oliver Wilson Freshman Academy Program

Objective 1

Students participating in the Oliver Wilson Freshman Academic Program will show an increasing slope of first to second year retention through 2021.

Outcome 3 Provide opportunities for student success for first year students on Jepordy or Dismissal and Academic Probation

Objective 1

Students on Jeopardy of Dismissal and Academic Probation who participate in the Laker Strategies for Success program will be retained for a second year at GVSU at a statistically significantly higher rate than students on Jeopardy of Dismissal and Academic Probation who do not participate in the program
