Outcome SPSY A NASP Standardards

School psychology students will demonstrate knowledge from the ten domains of practice as defined by the National Association of School Psychologists.

Objective 24 School psychology students will apply skills and knowledge from the ten domains of practice as defined by NASP to provide a comprehensive ranges during their internship year

Outcome SPSY B Ethics and Diversity

Students will practice in a legal, professional and ethicalmanner that demonstrates respect for student, family, and school diversity.
Objective 25 Students will apply relevant legal and ethical standards in professional practice
Objective 26 Students will demonstrate respect for the student, family, and school diversity in professional practice

Outcome SPSY C Academic Support

School psychology students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to use data to select, implement, and monitor interventions that improve academic outcomes for children and adolescents, and prepare them for post-school success.
Objective 28 Students will complete a high quality academic consultation case that demonstrates a positive impact on the K-12 student

Outcome SPSY D Research

School psychology students will engage with, interpret, and disseminate research that supports evidence-based practices in the field of school psychology.
Objective 29 Students will utilize single subject research methods to evaluate effects of an intervention in an applied setting
Objective 30 Students will disseminate research (original or systematic reviews) that supports evidence-based practices in the field of school psychology

School psychology students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to use data to select, implement, and monitor interventions that improve social and behavior outcomes for children and adolescents, and prepare them for post-school success.
Objective 27 Students will complete a high quality behavior consultation case that demonstrates a positive impact on the K-12 student

Outcome SPSY F Communication

Students will demonstrate effective oral and written communication within the discipline
Objective 32 Students will deliver a high quality oral presentation summarizing findings from their Master's project
Objective 33 Students will write clear, concise and jargon-free case study reports.
