Synthesize and apply knowledge, experiences, and multiple perspectives to new, complex situations.The General Education objectives associated with this Outcome are listed below. You can use these objectives as is or modify them in the next step in GVAssess.Students will: Connect academic theories with personal experiences to illuminate both. Draw conclusions connecting examples, facts, and/or theories from more than one field of study. Generalize skills, abilities, theories, or methodologies for solving problems in new contexts.
Objective 3 The Certificate in Applied Anthropology prepares students for graduate school and/or careers in applied anthropology or related fields. Synthesize and apply knowledge, experiences, and multiple perspectives to new, complex situations.

Outcome O Certificate Internships

Students completing the Certificate in Applied Anthropology will participate in meaningful, applied internships that give them opportunities to conduct applied anthropological work in a community engagement setting.
Objective 7 We will more fully integrate our community partnerships into our curriculum, particularly with respect to internships, incresing student awareness of the relationships linking anthropology, our department, and the greater community.
