Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the assessment of the impact of changes in the structure and function of the auditory and vestibular systems.

Outcome HRG SIX Hearing Six - Intervention for Auditory and Vestibular Systems

Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in intervention to minimize the effects of changes in the auditory and vestibular systems on an individual's ability to participate in his or her environment.
Objective 1 Students will demonstrate knowledge of the functioning of a hearing aid as measured by analysis of characteristics.

Outcome HRG THREE Hearing Three - Identification and Prevention of hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular disorders

Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the identification and prevention of hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular disorders.
Objective 1 Students will demonstrate interpretation of electrophysiologic instrumentation as measured by ABR [Auditory Brainstem Response], ASSR [Auditory Steady State Response], and AMLR [Auditory Middle Latency Response] techniques.
