GVSU has officially transitioned online. For many students and faculty, this is a new challenge and the university is doing everything possible to help students transition seamlessly. While much of campus has closed for the health and safety of the community, there are plenty of resources that have been moved online, and we’ve got a list to make life a little easier for you.

Knowledge Market
Meet with a research, writing, speech, or data consultant

We may not be able to complete our classes from our favorite library nook, but the library is still here for you! The Knowledge Market is offering virtual services, including Google Hangout meetings during normal hours. Librarians will also be available during regular library hours to help you transition online and find what you need.

Career Center
Stay on track to achieve your goals

The Career Center wants you to be prepared! They’ve moved their services online to help you find that perfect summer job or internship. You can schedule a phone appointment through Handshake, check out the employers that planned to come to career fairs, or attend virtual sessions to learn about being a professional.

University Counseling Center
Prioritize your mental health

Being stuck inside all day during these next few weeks may be difficult, and the University Counseling Center (UCC) understands. The UCC has compiled a list of online resources to bring you some peace during this tough time. Whether you’re looking for online counseling or want to stay updated on the facts to ease your anxiety, the University Counseling Center wants you to prioritize your mental health and will assist you in managing this adjustment.

Student Academic Success Center
Tips for managing online classes

Transitioning to online classes is a big adjustment, and the Student Academic Success Center has some helpful tips for managing these changes. Make sure to stay organized, avoid distractions, and reach out for help if you need it!

Recreation & Wellness
Stay active and healthy

Use the Recreation & Wellness's virtual workout series to exercise without having to leave the house. It’s important to take care of yourself!
