Vice President Student Advisory Board (VSAB)

The Student Advisory Board is a select group of diverse students who provide feedback and advice directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) about the student experience at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). The Board meets monthly throughout the academic year to discuss topics facing the institution and of importance to students. The Board’s perspectives help the VPSA consider ways the Division of Student Affairs can better serve students. This Board is not intended to replace unit or department advisory boards, or existing student organizations; rather, its purpose is to advise and work with the VPSA on topics that may not otherwise be discussed within existing campus conversations.
