GVSU Biostatistics Masters students finish second in an International Analytics Competition

GVSU Biostatistics Masters students Kayla Hawkins and Joe Lorenz (mentored by Biostatistics Director Dr. Robert Downer) recently finished second in an international analytics competition involving sixty teams. Their paper ‘Getting to Know the No-show: Predictive Modeling of Missing a Medical Appointment ’ was presented at SAS Global Forum in Denver Colorado. Click Student Symposium to read more.
