Class Room Issues

It is the responsibility of all instructors to report classroom issues and things that are broken as they notice them. It is better if a problem is reported multiple times than not at all. There is a button on the desktop of the instructor station computer, and you can click on it and report the issue, this button can be used to report facilities issues or IT issues. Click Class Room Issues. Besides, IT says that it is not sufficient just to list issues on a white board. They must be reported in one of the following convenient ways.
- On the instructor station desktop in the classrooms and labs, there is an icon labeled “HELP”, which will allow you to report either IT or facilities issues.
- IT phone number is 1-2101 and facilities is 1-3000, both of which should be posted in a corner of a whiteboard in every classroom and lab.
- IT email is firstname.lastname@example.org and facilities is email@example.com.
- Report IT issues on-line at https://www.gvsu.edu/it/helpdesk/, and report facilities issues on-line at https://www.gvsu.edu/facilitiesservices/allendale/customer-service-34.htm (despite the fact that this link says Allendale, you will have the opportunity to pick which campus you are on).
