MPH Student/Faculty Wellness Camp Project
Master of Public Health students and faculty partnered with local organizations in Lowell, Michigan, to design, implement, and evaluate an after-school wellness camp for youth. Using pre- and post-program surveys, the team found that the camp positively influenced participating students’ health attitudes and beliefs.
This applied, community-engaged research was published in the Michigan Journal of Public Health, highlighting the MPH program’s commitment to evidence-based practice and local impact.
