Certificate in Spanish for Healthcare Professionals
The Certificate in Spanish for Healthcare Professionals is a 15-credit certificate that enables students to develop essential Spanish language skills and cultural competence for clinical settings. It is open to all majors and does not require a minor or major in Spanish. The certificate program is flexible and practical, as we know, health students have demanding schedules. Currently, one course is offered online, and more will follow. Students can also study abroad and receive most of the credits for the certificate. Coursework includes: four (4) required courses (fee flyer) and one (1) elective from the catalogue.
