Occupational Therapy Celebrates 30 Years

The Occupational Science & Therapy Department is proud to announce the 30th anniversary of its founding in May 1996 by Dr. Cynthia Grapczynski. Since its establishment, programs have grown and healthcare has evolved, but the department has remained committed to its mission: To educate and empower students to have a positive impact on the health of individuals and groups in our society through innovation and leadership in occupation-based practice.
To honor this milestone, the Occupational Science & Therapy Department will share opportunities for current students, alumni, and the community to connect, learn, and celebrate during the anniversary year: May 2026 - April 2027! Join us in celebrating our history and looking to the future!
