The Community Hearing Clinic at Grand Valley is a teaching clinic, which means that the hours are determined by the GVSU calendar and student schedules.  Patients are seen by appointment only, unless walk-in hours (for hearing aid clean and checks) are listed below.  
 

Summer 2026 Hours:

Mondays: 8am-4pm

Tuesdays: 8am-4:30pm
 

Walk-in hours (for hearing aid clean and checks only):

Mondays 3-4pm; Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm
 

Aural rehabilitation groups meet in the evenings in various settings. If you are interested in being a part of aural rehabilitation, please contact us via email ([email protected])

The front of GVSU’s Raleigh Finkelstein Hall shown at the intersection of Lafayette Ave and Hastings St, just off of The Medical Mile in downtown Grand Rapids. If you enter the front doors, just follow the signs to find room 116. If you drove to the clinic and parking in our lot, you will need a parking permit to display on your dashboard (you can pick this up from the clinic when you check in).

If you are driving, the parking entrance is off Lafayette Ave on the north side (rear) of Finkelstein Hall.  Patients can park in any spot in the lot, except for visitor parking spots. From the parking lot, you should enter the outside glass doors closest to the parking area (door #10).

You will receive a parking permit from graduate student or audiologist when they meet you at the door located in the parking lot. The parking permit must be displayed on your dashboard.
