Description
The United Nations proclaimed that 2019 will be the
"International Year of the Periodic Table". Help the Western
Michigan local section of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the
GVSU Chemistry Department celebrate the 150th anniversary of Dmitry
Mendeleev's critical contribution to all branches of science!
All the elements will be put together on October 19, 2019 for a
2019 National Chemistry Week Event, 10am-2pm at the
Kelly Family Sports Center on the GVSU Allendale campus. Follow the

We are competing for the Guinness World Record.
This event will be FREE and open to the public. There will be
booths with fun activities and face painting! K-12 students may enter
the Poetry Contest!
